The story of an hour
I read The story of an hour by Kate Chopin. This story talked about a woman named Mrs. Louise Mallard, who had heart troubles. Her sister and her husband's friend (Josephine and Richards) told her about her husband's death in a railroad accident. She felt bad and ran to her room alone. When she was there she thought about her whole life and what she went thru. She looked outside her window and saw herself different. She thougth about being sad, when she was with her husband. Now, that she was alone, without a husband, she felt free and happy. It was a different feeling,. She was waiting for that moment. Her sister went to her room to check if she was all right. Mrs. Mallard went out with her sister. Both decided to went downstairs and sat in the family room. Richards heard the front door opening. Mr. Mallard, the husband of Louise, apperead in the front door. He wasn't dead. He didn't took the railroad, so he didn't know about the accident. Mrs. Mallard fell down and they took her to the hospital. The doctor said that she died.
